Symptom

  • In a clustered environment, with one CMS (Central Management Server) acting as auditor and one as backup / failover, the following error can be seen in CMC (Central Management Console) >> Auditing:
    Warning: There is no connection to the Auditing Data Store from the CMS <SIA>.CentralManagementServer

    Where <SIA> is the name of one of the Server Intelligence Agent in the cluster. The CMS mentioned in the above error is the one currently not acting as the auditor.
