2343951 - Custom Section and Custom Fields are not Editable in 360 Modify Stage - 360 Multi-rater

Symptom

  • In the Custom section of a 360 Review, custom fields are not editable and always in read-only mode in the Modify Stage.
  • Item ratings and Item comments not possible in Modify Stage

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Launch a 360 Review for the Employee.
  2. The custom section and fields therein cannot be edited in the Modify stage even when the field permissions are configured and set as required.
  3. This section becomes editable once it reaches  evaluation stage.

Cause

The Modify stage is used to modify raters/participants and select/confirm goals and competencies - it is not the step to collect feedback.

A Custom section is a customized  section to collect feedback from raters.  The custom fields will only be editable when the review reaches the Evaluation stage

Resolution

This is expected behavior. In the Modify stage, roles defined in the route map can nominate raters, and send the form to next step. This is not the stage to collect feedback.
