How to setup a Free-Floating item with Due Date and Assignment Type and assign it via Assignment Profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Create an item>
2. In Item Details Tab > Assignments Section, update the following:
1. Initial Basis: Event>
2. Initial Number>
3. Initial Period>
4. Assignment Type: Required>
3. Proceed to an Assignment Profile > Items tab > Add the Item>
4. Go to Actions> Execute Changes so that the item is assigned to the users>
5. Check on a user's Assigned Items tab and notice that there is a Required Date.

Note: The Initial Required Date Basis field value will be auto populated to Curricula as soon as we associate an item to a curricula.
          The Initial Required Date Basis of 'Assignment Date' can take effect when the course get assigned to user directly. However, the Initial Required Date Basis of 'Hire Date' is valid only when the course get assigned to user as part of curricula.
