2344431 - shared SNC for multiple users is not supported in AO

Symptom

If several users are using shared SNC on Netweaver server, when logon Netweaver server with AO, error messages "Single Sign On failed. Logon manually (ID-108014)" and "System found several suitable SAP users for the SNC name of the caller" are displayed.

Environment

  • SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Start AO and logon Netweaver server.
  2. Error information is displayed.

Cause

This is a limitation that shared SNC for multiple users is not supported in AO.

Resolution

Please do not use shared SNC.
