Note - the steps provided below will help to unflag the scoping in the early stage before making any sort of posting effecting this settings.

Resolution

Follow the sequence in the scoping:

  1. Expand Financial and Management Accounting -> Inventory Valuation -> Valuation of Work in Process - > Do you want to allocate overhead costs to production lots and material cost estimates? De-Scope it.
  2. Expand Financial and Management Accounting -> Management Accounting -> Sales and Profit Analysis -> Do you want to allocate overhead costs to Service Orders?  De-Scope it.
  3. Expand Financial and Management Accounting -> Management Accounting -> Project Cost and  Revenue Management -> Do you want to allocate overhead costs to Projects ? De-Scope it.

Since these are dependency questions for the Overhead costs, and when you de-scope the above then automatically Overhead Absorption and the Question You can apply overhead, for examples, service orders and projects is will be De-Scoped/unflagged.
