2345715 - Generate Direct Links gateway timeout latency

Observe the generate direct links menu taking a long time(more than 50 sec) to open or results in Gateway Timeout

Due to hidden preloading of categories (prior aka Subject Areas), Direct link Page takes time to load for larger amounts of catgeories created also partially affected by browser & DB loading.

Please change the Search Selector dropdown configuration for Categories:

System Administration >  Configuration > Search Selectors > Category > Edit & Search & set dropDownEnabled=false

Note this will change user library search filter of catgeroies to a search function instead of dropdown.
