2345935 - Bizx Instance Refresh for customers having RMK – Recruiting Marketing

This article explains the precautions which shoudl be taken while doing a Bizx instance refresh for Recruiting Marketing customers.

Important: The Bizx instance refresh doesn't refresh the RMK site however it can have an impact on the overall configuration. There is no such thing has RMK refresh. If you desire to copy a RMK CSB site configuration to another site, you need to use the Import/Export CSB functionality.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

If you have Recruiting Marketing implemented and request a Bizx instance refresh, the following information should be saved first:

1. API Credentials – save the settings in Provisioning > Recruiting Marketing Settings. The Security Key will not be visible there, so this information has to be collected in Manage Career Site Builder by the CSB admin. 
2. Data Center URLs – save the URLs presented in Provisioning > Configure Recruiting Marketing Datacenter URL. Make sure that the correct URLs are configured (e.g Stage, Production URL).

Possible issues following a refresh:

• You may get an error when applying to a job from the RMK site such as : "This job cannot be viewed at this time. It has either been deleted or is no longer available for application."

After making sure all the integration settings are correct, we can do the following:

1. Inactivate all Jobs in Command Center. (Note this can only be done by RMK support or Partners) Inactivate All Jobs performs a hard reset and removes all jobs from the career site. This process may take a while.
2. In Provisioning, run the Full feed Job (Sync all External Job Posting) to restore all jobs. (Note this can only be done by RMK support or Partners

• During refresh, email addresses of the users are masked. This affects the SSO of the users. Users must have a "Unique" email address for the RCM-RMK SSO to work. This will result in users not being able to access RMK resources such as CSB or Advanced Analytics. Please note that this behaviour will change with the 1H2024 release, when email addresses are no longer required to be unique for Recruiting users to be able to access CSB or Source tracker or Advanced Analytics.
• After a instance refresh, customers can reach out to support requesting to recreate the fullfeed job in Provisioning (job type: "sync all external job postings") which is required for the integration between RCM-RMK. It's necessary to provide a job owner (username) and authorization to complete such request.
