2346020 - Document Generation: Relationship Type

Customer would like to include Supervisor ( Direct Manager ) in the email list for all the Documents created by the Admin using Document Generator.

• The current set of values in the Relationship Type drop down seems to be hard coded.
• How we can ensure that every letter by default goes to the relationship type Supervisor (Immediate manager)

Employee Central - Document Generation

As of now available relationships under document generations are:

• HR Manager
• Custom Manager
• Additional Manager
• Matrix Manager
• Second Manager

For Supervisor, it is currently not supported and will be taken as an enhancement. A workaround is to maintain the Supervisor as one of the existing Relationship Types for the users and configure the email settings accordingly, then the letter would be received by the Supervisor.

For e.g. you can maintain the Supervisor as second manager in the Job information as job relationship. Then letter would be received by Second Manager which is added in the email settings for the template.
