2346506 - LMS Connector error 1173 - Record received for duplicate entity

Symptom

  • 'Connector Run Details' shows Completion status: WARN - Some records were rejected.
  • Under 'Messages and Exceptions Summary', Code 1173 - Record received for duplicate entity.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Upload a connector input file that contains identical fields >
  2. Run the connector (e.g., Curriculum connector as above) >
  3. The connector run and input file will be completed with warnings.

Cause

The error message is due to duplicate rows in the content input file.

Resolution

  • Create a new connector input file and ensure to avoid placing duplicate entries in the file.
  • For connector input file creation, please reach out to your Certified Implementation Partner or SAP Professional Services.
