2347081 - How to report on Position and Incumbent information using Ad-Hoc Reporting

Symptom

You want to create reports on Position data, including Incumbent and Nominee data.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central with Position Management
  • SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

Resolution

Following these steps will allow you to create an ad-hoc report on Position data.

Note: This is for customers who have both Position Management (Employee Central) and MDF Position Nomination Method (Succession Management) configured and using Employee Central specific Succession reporting domains.

Creation of the report requires basic knowledge of using Ad-Hoc Reporting.

  1. Login to your instance and select Analytics from main menu
  2. Click on the Reporting tab
  3. Click on Create Report
  4. Select Single Domain Report
  5. For Report Definition type, select Succession (MDF Position based nominations, with Employee Central)
  6. Provide a name for the report
  7. Click on the Columns tab and add the desired columns
  8. Click on Filters to add a Filter
  9. Save and click on Generate to create the report
