Symptom
- When sending adhoc emails, for example with the Certification Of Completion template (ID: CERTIFICATE_OF_COMPLETION), the email received by the user is coming up as blank.
- When sending adhoc emails from entity page (item, curriculum, etc), some tokens available in the default template are missing.

Resolution
Not all tags are supported for adhoc email notifications. For example, the tags in template ID CERTIFICATE_OF_COMPLETION are not supported for adhoc emails, so this template should not be used when sending adhoc emails.
To know all the supported tags for sending adhoc emails please navigate to:
- Learning Administration > System Administration > Manage Email > Email Notification Token Sets >
- Search for the Token Set ID AD_HOC_NOTIFICATION >
- Open the record on the edir more >
- Navigate to the Tokens tab >
- This will provide you with the list of all supported syntax tags for Adhoc notifications.
