2347540 - Error "Attribute install_auditing is not set" while installing auditing - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Installing auditing using auditinit utility
  • Error "Attribute install_auditing is not Set. Audit database will not be configured" can occur when :
    • Before running "Execute the Sybase Server Configuration now",the property "Configure auditing" under the section configure auditing is set to NO.
    • The auditing capability is already installed successfully and "Execute the Sybase Server Configuration now" is run again.
