2347547 - High CPU may be seen after upgrade to ASE 15.7 SP 136 HF1 - SAP ASE

Symptom

After upgrading to ASE 15.7 SP 136 HF1, CPU is extremely high and performance has degraded.

Review of the monSpinlockActivity data shows high contention for tablockspins, Pdes Chain Spinlocks and/or high fglockspins.

Looking at ASE stacktraces of running spids during poor performance will show them waiting on spinlocks and somewhere in the stacktrace will be the routine db_is_inmemory_db
