2348028 - Unable to launch Offline Learning Player after it's installed

After installing the Offline Player on the user's computers, issues can show such as:

• inability to download the courses from the player
• Java error: No output folder

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) - All Supported Versions

Some permissions on the installation folder (default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SuccessFactorsLearningOffline) are required for the offline player to work properly on the user's machines

In order to resolve this issue an administrator of the machine needs to make sure to grant the following permissions to the users:

1. Navigate to the folder where the offline player is installed
2. Right-click on the folder and go to Properties
3. In the Security Tab, the following permissions need to be granted for the users of the player by selecting them in the "Allow" column:

• Full control
• Modify
• Read and execute
• List folder contents
• Read
• Write
