Symptom

  • The SAP Java Connector fails when trying to run it in conjunction with SAP Enterprise Inventory and Service-Level Optimization (EIS). 

  • The error log from the SAP Connector contains the following messages:
         java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
         com.smartops.sap_connector.util.SmartOpsException:  Could not establish database connection
