2348397 - Shrink the Data Volume on Secondary Site with SAP HANA System Replication

Symptom

  • You have an SAP HANA system configured with System Replication;
  • You notice the size of a data volume on secondary site is significantly higher compared to primary site;
  • In SAP HANA Studio > Administration > Volumes on secondary site, you can see the Used/Total Size (%) is considerable low (smaller value means more unused space);
  • You want to know how to reclaim the data volume space on the secondary site.
