After upgrading from a HANA version below SPS09 to a version >= SPS09, you see that the Total Size (MB) of the datavolume of the indexserver has increased substantially. On closer inspection, it can be seen that the percentage of unused space in the data volaume is considerably high. This can be seen in the 'Volumes' tab of the SAP HANA studio.
