Symptom

  • PowerDesigner can´t handle stored procedures with same name, but having different number of arguments in Informix database.
  • PowerDesigner thorws the following warning and turns one of the procs into Case Sensitive:

The model has become case-sensitive in order to preserve the name uniqueness of the following object: Procedure 'sp_informixtest'

  • By comparing to INFORMIX 11.x xdb, under Script\Objects\Procedure\SQLAttrQuery, this query returns two procedure bodies instead of one.
