2349953 - Why is a space bar taking up 6 characters under "Characters left" when adding comments in employee's Performance Form?

When pasting and/or writing comments in employee's performance form, it can be seen the number of characters left. This feature may not reflect the correct number because RTE count the html characters.

For example, after adding a space bar, the count decreases by 1 character (as expected), but when another space bar is typed, the count decreases to 6 chars.

1. Log into the instance;
2. Go to "Performance" tab;
3. Open the Performance Form document;
4. Paste any comments in the comment box.

Currently a space counting 6 characters is expected behavior of the system because RTE count the html characters.

Something like space or enter still count more than what is directly seen in the RTE box because RTE will always count characters as their HTML format.
