2350558 - Hierarchy prompt's text from BW query only displays 20 characters

Symptom

  • Design studio application use a BW query with hierarchy variable as datasource.When select the hierarchy prompt in initial prompt screen and explore the hierarchy members, the hierarchy text gets cut when exceeding 20 characters.
  • This issue could be reproduced in Design Studio client local mode by directly connect to BW system.
  • The hierarchy variable is set to show long text in query definition but not work.
