Admin is experiencing error: "You are not authorized to view this page" when admin tries to notify user about a requested item and click on "from" address field
Environment
Learning Management System (LMS)
Reproducing the Issue
- navigate to item,
- click on more in related area/click on "requests" tab,
- select user and click on " Send notification",
- you will experience following error message:
Cause
- This is caused by missing specific workflows:
1. add administrator
2. search user profile
Resolution
- Error won't appear again once affected workflows are added to admin's assigned role
- navigate to SystemAdmin/security/role management/select role assigned to admin/click to edit role/click on workflows/click on "add one or more from list"/add missing workflows/apply changes
