2351440 - SOLMAN_SETUP: Missing installed products in step "6. Setup Monitoring"

Symptom

During step "6. Setup Monitoring" of Technical Monitoring setup (from SOLMAN_SETUP), trying to configure the monitoring (Assign a MAI template and "Apply and Activate") for any managed object is not possible because no Installed Products are identified for this managed object and the table does not contain any data to assign.

A similar symptom would be:

  • Product version of the managed object does not appear within the installed products and is not possible to assign a template for that product.
  • Self Monitoring workcenter doesn't show template to be assigned for certain component (for example recent Introscope 10.8 version)
