2351811 - Can I Route Recruiting Forms Using Route Form From Admin Center? - Recruiting Management

• Is routing forms supported for Recruiting Management?
• Can I route job requisitions or offers via Admin Center in order to approve them on behalf of approvers?
• Can I use other functionalities from Route Form for Recruiting forms (Job Requisition & Offers)?

Route form, Modify Form Route Map and its features are not supported for Recruiting forms. The tool was designed to be used for Performance Management forms, any other form should not be routed or modified from this tool.

With 2H2021 release, A few features were removed from these tools. There are some customers using these tools and features for recruiting forms for specific use cases

In order to unblock customers, a limited set of features are being restored.

However, it is recommended that customers use the standard “Reassign job requisitions” tool wherever possible. For use cases where  “Reassign job requisitions” cannot be used, a change in route map, or creating new requisitions should be considered. Alternatively you can proxy as the user and approve the form yourself. Using these tools for recruiting forms can lead to data corruption and SAP will not offer support to resolve these inconsistencies.

 The following features are currently restored for recruiting forms, but not recommended to be used:

1. "Delete a step" functionality in recruiting forms on "modify form route map" page for job requisition forms.
2. On "Route forms" page:
• Move the form one step forward
• Move the form one step back

 Customers should strictly avoid the following actions on the “Route form” tool for recruiting forms, as this may lead to data inconsistencies:

1.  Use the radio buttons:
• Move the form to a specific step
• Move the form to a new step
2. Move one step backward from Completed step
3. Moving to "Completed" step using any of the radio buttons on the page 

Using these tools on recruiting forms could cause problems in User purge. In addition, there could be more issues which are currently not known.
