2352022 - Setting the DocumentLink/ExternalData property dynamically without a screenset

Symptom

  • Attempting to set a value for 'External Data Property' in a transaction using a rule (which can provide a dynamic file path). this would require use in the background of the app and thus cannot use a screen set.
  • How can one go about configuring the rule to allow for this?
