2352091 - AseBulkCopy with unsigned int / bigint returns error – SDK for SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When using ENABLEBULKLOAD = 2 on the connection string and doing an AseBulkCopy (BCP) of a group of columns where the last one is of type “unsigned bigint” OR “unsigned int”, the driver returns the following error:
    • Bad row data received from the client while bulk copying into object...Received a row of length … whilst maximum or expected row length is …
    • OR
    • Premature end-of-message while reading current row from host. Host program may have died
