Successfactors Employee Central - Compensation Information
Reproducing the Issue
1. Navigate to an Employee's Profile > Compensation Information Portlet > click 'History'
2. On the left-hand side of the History Panel > 'Event' is displaying in the Compensation Information History Page with Format "Event:#EMPFILE_HRIS_CR_UNSPECIFIED"
Cause
This issue is caused by the incorrect configuration the change-reason and/or the change-reason-external fields in either job or compensation information. Visibility should only be set to none as these fields is no longer supported in EC V2.
Resolution
Field change-reason visibility should only be set to none as these fields is no longer supported in EC V2.
Via UI
- Go to Manage Business Configuration BCUI-Compensation Info or Job Info
- select change-reason
- detail: Enable: No - visibility=none
Via Provisioning
- Go to Provisioning and Export Succession Data Model
- Scroll down to Compensation Info or Job Info
