2352224 - Material description incomplete after CIF transfer

Symptom

In ECC, you maintain up to 40 characters in the material description using some double-byte characters. After CIF transfer, you see some of the characters are missing in SCM.

In other cases, the description is displayed as ### or other garbled texts. The issue can happen to location master data, too.
