• From Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.2, it is possible to display barcode.
• Any numeric or text field that is added to a report can be converted to a barcode.
• Date or currency fields can also be converted to specific barcode formats including 1D and 2D barcode formats.
       
• To create a barcode in Crystal Reports for Enterprise:
    
1. In Crystal Reports for Enterprise, create a report based on any data source, or open a report.
     
2. Right click on the field you want to convert to a barcode, and select "Change to QRCode/Barcode"
       
3. In the window "Change to QRCode/Barcode", for the option "Choose Format", select in the drop-down list the barcode format. 
     
4. Check the option: "Can Grow".   ( This is to prevent the truncation of the barcode, if the size of the cell is too small. )
      
5. Click "OK" 
       
6. Now, the field will display a barcode.
