2352784 - Receiving Error: "Unable to initiate onboarding process" Because of ApplicationID Mapped from RCM to ONB [Integration with RCM] - Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

When attempting to initiate onboarding in RCM, get a similar error as the one below:

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
  • SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 - All Versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Recruiting
  2. Select a Job Requisition > go to the candidate's application that is in the onboarding status
  3. Click on Take Action
  4. Try to initiate Onboarding
  5. Get the error

Resolution

The keys "JobReqId", "ApplicationId", "CandidateId" are standard keys. They are always sent from RCM to ONB automatically. So, they must not be included to the mapping.

On the screenshot below, you can see the incorrect mapping:
