2353264 - The Company Name is Displayed in English in the Closing Cockpit Though User is Logged in the Chinese System Environment

Symptom

You've logged in Chinese in the Closing Cockpit, however the company name is displayed in English

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the General Ledger workcenter
  2. Closing Cockpit View and choose the Closing Cockpit Subview
  3. Open the activity XXX and you find that the display language(English) is different than the system logon language(Chinese). 

Cause

The reason is that while entering the specified data, the user had logged on with display language(English), hence data displayed is created in Display (English) though the system login language is different (Chinese)

Resolution

  1. Go to the General Ledger workcenter
  2. Closing Cockpit View and choose the Closing Cockpit Subview
  3. Personalize Option Chose My settings
  4. Regional settings and click on Language

Here the data entered with a different language rather than the scoped system envirnoment(language) and therefore the data will get displayed only in (English) even though the users logs in the different language and environment(Chinese)
