2353737 - ORA-00959: tablespace 'PSAPTEMP' does not exist error in CREATE-SHADOW-SCHEMA phase of upgrade

During the upgrade using Software update Manager (SUM), the tool stops in CREATE-SHADOW-SCHEMA phase with following error.

• SWITCH/CREATE-SHADOW-SCHEMA_XX.LOG:

Aug 3, 2016 2:46:15 AM [Error ]: Error while executing command runhandler.
Aug 3, 2016 2:46:15 AM [Error ]: Return code condition success evaluated to false for process java for action runhandler.
Aug 3, 2016 2:46:15 AM [Error ]: The following problem has occurred during step execution: com.sap.sdt.db.dmtif.DMTProcessException: Could not complete DMT process. 
Check the DMT.CREATE_SCHEMA.LOG log file.
Could not execute DMT command runhandler with arguments /usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/sdt/config/DMT.CREATE_SCHEMA.xml.
Return code condition success evaluated to false for process java for action runhandler.

• SWITCH/DMT.CREATE_SCHEMA_XX_YY.OUT:

DB object not found (code 959): ORA-00959: tablespace 'PSAPTEMP' does not exist
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00959: tablespace 'PSAPTEMP' does not exist
SQL Exception code 1917: ORA-01917: user or role 'SAP<SID>SH' does not exist
