2354434 - Approved Leave Hours not Reflecting in Time Account Balance


You have submitted a new Leave Request with the "Vacation" time type. The vacation has been approved by the manager, however Quantity field displays only the dates without showing any hours. Additionally, the requested leave has not been deducted from the employee's Vacation Balance.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Time Administration work center.
  2. Go to Employees view.
  3. Select the required employee and open it.
  4. Go to Employee Times tab.

You will notice that there is a record for an approved vacation, but the Quantity field for this record is blank.


This happens because there is no Work Schedule assigned for this Employee.


To resolve this issue assign a Work Schedule to this employee's Time Profile:

  1. Navigate to the Time Profile tab.
  2. Select the current time profile.
  3. Go to the Work Schedule sub-tab.
  4. Assign a Work Schedule.
  5. Click Save button.

Note: If the deduction remains at zero, you can proceed by running the "Run Day Closure for One Employee" under the Regular Tasks view.
