2354841 - Timeslice with stack trace when sp_addlogin is replicated and auditing is enabled - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • When executing sp_addlogin_rep while auditing is enabled, a timeslice error occurs in the function charindex() followed by a stack trace:

timeslice -501, current process infected at 0x19632db (charindex+0x17b)

  • SQL causing error:

sp_addlogin_rep <newlogin>, 0x..., master

  • The stack trace include the following functions:

rvm__get_modifier_from_resdom
rvm__audit_login
rvm_audit_dispatch
rvm_dispatch
rvm_process_dispatch
rvm_crtlogin_perm_check
lobj_crtloginmain
lobj_crtlogin
s_execute
