2354887 - No configuration / default adapter specified for Adapter while processing messages

Symptom

Messages fail in the receiver communication channel with "No configuration / default adapter specified for <adapter name>" exception.

When checking the traces via the Log Viewer to collect detailed diagnostic traces you see entries similar to below:

In this example the error occurred in the HTTP_AAE adapter.
