2355159 - Gender is reporting in application field for Internal Applications

Symptom

How are Gender values are populating for internal candidates in the application column of adhoc when they are not permissioned in the application?

Environment

Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run adhoc report selecting gender in the application field
  2. Select filter for internal candidates
  3. See that gender is populated
  4. Check permissions in application xml and there are no permissions for the gender field

Cause

Gender was defined in the application and is a standard field so it populates from the employee file

Resolution

  1. Check to see if gender is populated in the employee file
  2. Gender values are populated in employee file
  3. This is expected behavior; values will populate if standard gender field is defined in application and populated in employee file
