2355312 - Invalid HR/Manager ID at hire/re-hire

• Upon Submission of a New Hire or a Rehire scenario, an error message appears: "Invalid HR ID" or "Invalid Manager ID" even with no Job Relationships selected
• When exporting user data file (UDF) through Admin Center-> Export Employees, the affected employee has an HR or Manager as "{}" (curly brackets)

SAP SuccessFactors: Employee Central

New Hire Scenario:

1. Log into the Employee Central Instance
2. Navigate to Admin Center -> Add New Employee
3. Click Submit
   
   Popup appears stating "Invalid HR ID. Please try again." or "Invalid Manager ID. Please try again"

 User Data File Scenario:

1. Log into the Employee Central Instance
2. Navigate to Admin Center -> Export Employees
3. Select Export User File
   
   Notice that some employees have curly brackets under HR or Manager

HRIS Mapping was manually configured in the Data Model XML for hrId or managerId. This is conflicting configuration as the system already has pre-defined sync mapping to sync the hrId and managerId. The conflict causes the value "{}" to be saved in its place which results in a failing hrId or managerId validation.

Locate and remove the hris-mapping from the Data Model XML. If you do not have access to change the Data Model XML directly, please open a customer support case and support will assist to address this issue.
