2356286 - Plateau Report Designer(PRD) Won't allow to Save Report as Zip

Symptom

While using the Plateau Report Designer on Windows OS, clicking on the "Save Report Zip" button does nothing thus not allowing to save the report.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Finish implementing the custom report as per the KBA: 2171592 - Process to enable the use of Plateau/Learning Report Designer (PRD) - SAP for Me 
  2. Make sure the .rptdesign is selected under Outline
  3. Click on the "Save Report Zip" button
  4. The "Save as" window does not appear 

Cause

The Plateau Report Designer(PRD) tool does not have sufficient rights to write to the workspace directory.

Resolution

Right click on the Program and choose "Run as administrator"
