2356862 - Warning: PICL (libpicl.so.1) is missing. Performance will not be optimal: Solaris library missing when running SAP JVM 8.1

Symptom

When running SAP JVM 8.1 on a Solaris Operating System the following warning may occur:

***Warning: PICL (libpicl.so.1) is missing. Performance will not be optimal.

This warning may appear on the JVM itself, for example, when running command java -version in the OS console.

It may also appear in the log std_serverX.out of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java.
