2357099 - HCPms is returning "HTTP Status 405 - Bad Method" error when trying to register an application

Symptom

  • Trying to register an application on HANA Cloud Platform(mobile services) but it fails with the below response:
    HTTP Status 405 - Bad Method

  • This URL was used from a REST client:
    https://mobile-xxxxxxxxx .dispatcher.us2.hana.ondemand.com/odata/applications/latest/xxxxxxxxxx /Connections

  • A second symptom can also be this error message when using Kapsel Plug in to connect to HCPms:
