2357126 - Cloned inboundRA Resource Adapter not starting

Symptom

You have followed the instruction of SAP Document Configuring Java IDoc Adapter (IDoc_AAE) in Process Integration to set up a Sender IDoc_AAE channel.

  1. You have created an RFC destination with the name XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_DESTINATION_<CLIENT> to connect to the sender backend system.
  2. You have set the programID for the destination to XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_PROGRAMID.
  3. You have created a cloned inboundRA Resource Adapter named ClonedRA_inboundRA_<SID>_<CLIENT> as described in SAP Help Portal Managing Resource Adapters.
  4. You configured the cloned inboundRA Resource Adapter named ClonedRA_inboundRA_<SID>_<CLIENT> to connect to the sender backend system using RFC destination
    • DestinationName set to XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_DESTINATION_<CLIENT>.
    • ProgramID set to XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_PROGRAMID.
    • GatewayServer set to HOSTNAME.
    • GatewayService set to sapgwXX.
  5. You try to start the the cloned inboundRA Resource Adapter named ClonedRA_inboundRA_<SID>_<CLIENT> but the application doesn't start.

In the default traces you notice the following errors:

Global [startApp] operation of application [sap.com/ClonedRA_inboundRA_<SID>_<CLIENT>] finished with errors for [16] ms on server process [15096350] [
