2357569 - Error While Creating SOAP Mashup Webservice

Symptom

You might recieve an HTTP 500 (InternalServerError) while creating a SOAP Mashup Webservice.

 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to Cloud Application Studio.
  2. Open the required Solution.
  3. Go to Solution Explorer.
  4. Add a new item.

 5. Select SOAP Mashup Webservice.

6. After Adding error appears.

Cause

SOAP Mashup Webservice requires an Admin mode to enabled. If its disabled then the above error appears while adding SOAP Mashup Webservice.

Resolution

  1. Go to Cloud Application Studio.
  2. Open the Solution
  3. Go to Administration view in Cloud Application Studio.
  4. Enable the Admin mode.

Once you On the Admin mode you will be able to create a SOAP Mashup Webservice.
