Symptom
To be able to set the PI tools to HTTPS communication protocols, you have to ensure the following two points first:
- The SAP Cryptographic Library is installed.
See the following documentation for more information about it: Installing the SAP Cryptographic Library for SSL
- The HTTPS Port is maintained in ICM.
See the following documentation for more information: Maintaining ICM Parameters for Using SSL
When the above points are done you still have to set a parameter to activate the HTTPS for the PI tools.
If you check your tools these are still pointing to the HTTP address.
