Object businessUnit is associated into Legal Entity object:

When trying to transfer an employee into another business segment or business unit, an application error occurs on the UI:

Exact error from logs being thrown:

This is because of a missing Field criteria from the business-unit field to the Legal Entity object. A correction from the Succession data model is necessary in order to rectify this issue

Create a field criteria definition from the Data Model on the business-unit field to Legal Entity / Company:

From Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration > jobInfo > business-unit (Business Segment) > Field Criteria:
