2359612 - LongPtr datatype not working in an OLE call using a control handle as parameter SAP PowerBuilder

Symptom

In earlier versions, handle (graphicobject) returns a long datatype. In PB 12.6, it returns a LongPtr datatype.
This new behaviour introduces problems for customers in some situations like :

  • When calling a method of an ActiveX OLE which use a control handle as parameter.
  • When passing a control handle to an external function which has a control handle as parameter.
  • When using this datatype in an embedded SQL.
