2359613 - Error : Additional Staffing Not Allowed On Intercompany Project

Symptom

While adding employee to intercompany project you will receive above error message.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Project Management work center.
  2. Choose the Projects view.
  3. Search for the Intercompany Project IC XYZ.
  4. Choose Edit and Team and Staffing button.
  5. Under Team Member choose Add Row.
  6. Then search and select for the employee you will receive the above error message.

Cause

Intercompany project used only for reference purpose at the partner company hence additional staffing is not allowed.

Resolution

System works as designed.
