2359699 - Introscope Push Service fails due to error 'Illegal character in path at index'

Symptom

After install and configure a Introscope Enterprise Manager 9.7, the Introscope Push service is not running as expected. In the IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log or SapDpcPush.log the following error is shown:
