2360160 - BC Sets Using SAP BCOs

Symptom

The creation of a patch solution in the test system fails due to the below errors:

  • Creation of patch not possible.
  • Solution YXXXXXXXY_ contains the following BC sets using SAP BCOs:
  • BC_SET_NAME.bcc
  • Create patch on development tenant.
  • Patch Creation in background failed.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Cloud Applications Studio
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Cloud Applications Studio.
  2. Open the Original Solution.
  3. Go to the Implementation Manager tab and click on the create patch button.
  4. Patch creation fails.

Cause

Business configuration (BC) sets created on SAP BCOs (Business Configuration Objects) can only be maintained on a partner development tenant and it is not supported to be developed on a standard test tenant.

Resolution

Create the patch solution on the partner development tenant.
