- During an upgrade, the Software Update Manager (SUM) tool fails in STARTSAP_PUPG phase due to duplicate ASCS creation.
- The system already has a DVEBMGS instance and an ASCS instance before the start of the upgrade. However, SUM creates a duplicate ASCS instance in downtime and fails to start either of the two ASCS instances in the step STARTSAP_PUPG.
