2361631 - Applicant is being placed into hired status, but the requisition is not being automatically closed (filled) - Recruiting Management

Even after placing the candidate application into a hired/disqualified status, the requisition is not being closed automatically.

The following option, to descrese the position number, was already configured under Manage Recruiting Settings:
"When number of remaining openings becomes less than one Automatically close requisitions with status" configured to "Filled".

However this system behavior still persist.

Please, consider the way the system is currently designed, all candidates that are placed into the categories below, will decrease the number of opening positions:
 
a. PRESTART
b. HIRED
c. ONBOARD
d. EMPLOYEE
 
So, it is expected the recruiter to be prompted to a system message informing the requisition will be automatically closed if the candidate be placed into the applicant stages which are associated to the categories above.
 
Please ensure you have these categories properly configured in your pipeline stage statuses, under applicant status set. Otherwise the requisition will not be closed automatically.
