2361718 - System Crashes When Trying to Create New Request Removal

Symptom

When you are trying to create New Request Removal for a product system crashes though there is a sufficient On-Hand stock in a system.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Internal Logistics Workcenter.
  2. Go to Common Tasks View.
  3. Go to New Removal Subview.
  4. Enter the required Product ID and choose Go.
  5. Here enter required Removal Quantity equals to On-Hand Stock.
  6. Choose Request Removal.
  7. System crashes.

Cause

Since the stock is Allocated to another Warehouse Request, system is unable to find the stock to create New Warehouse Request and dumps.You have to Reject the warehouse request created already to get the required stock.

Resolution

  1. Go to Internal Logistics Workcenter.
  2. Go to Common Tasks View.
  3. Go to New Removal Subview.
  4. Enter the required Product ID and choose Go.
  5. Select the Row as per your requirement.
  6. Under section: Details, go to Forecasted Documents subtab.
  7. Here you can see Warehouse Request ID created for the Product with some quantity.
  8. Open the warehouse request using hyperlink and Reject it.
  9. Then again perform New Request Removal.
